Update on 36th Fajr Int'l Filmfest-Day 4

Here are some highlights of the fourth day of 36th Fajr International Film Festival.

1. French director, writer and editor Olivier Megaton shared experience with the audience on how his career in film making started, during a press conference held on the sidelines of the festival.

2. Andac Haznedaroglu's 'The Guest' and 'The Survivors' directed by Mohammad-Ali Rakhshani are competing at the Broken Olive Branches of the festival.

3. Well-known Iranian director Ebrahim Hatamikia recommends to his workshop attendees to consider conceptual design while creating their works.  

4. Festival's Talent Campus manager, Maziar Miri states that the students who participate in the workshops on directing, writing, cinematography, production, and editing will receive a certificate.

5. Macedonian director Milcho Manchevski advises young film makers, 'Be a good storyteller, know your story, and practice the art of storytelling. Because of new technologies, it is now much easier than ever to make a film. Start with short films, show them, and learn from audience feedback.'

Fajr International Filmfest pays tribute to quality local and international films. It is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and showcases films promoting artistic contribution to the medium.

Directed by well-known Iranian helmer Reza Mirkarimi, 2018 edition of Fajr International Film Festival inaugurated on April 18 and will end on April 27.
